One thing I have noticed after viewing the
interiors of many Turbo Regals is how the console door nearly always has
indentations and other distortions on the top of it. Heck, even my 22,000 mile
GN has small imperfections on it. We have come up for a solution that will
look great along with our console overlays. We are now offering an overlay
that simply double tapes over the top surface of the console door.
Available only in our SIMULATED aluminum or black anodized aluminum. You may get it in
just a plain overlay or with an optional pinstripe around the
perimeter. Care must be taken to keep from scratching the delicate
surface but you are always careful when it comes to your Turbo Regal, right? Be
aware that this part is just an overlay, you WILL NOT be getting a complete new
console door if you order this part! You stock type guys probably won't
like this but more than likely you aren't looking at our products anyway.

Effective immediately, we will no
longer offer clear-anodized aluminum. In it's place we will offer an
imitation brushed aluminum/plastic material. It's very similar in appearance to
clear anodized aluminum, and all engraving will be a high-contrast black.
Reasons for the change include: clear anodized aluminum is getting VERY
expensive, it's difficult to work with, is sometimes inconsistent in appearance,
and must be hand painted if black engraving is desired. We've been making
Oldmobile dashboard and other items for quite some time using the
imitation aluminum with good results and reviews.
