AVAILABLE IN POLISHED ALUMINUM

Our 3 INCH MAF pipes are available in polished aluminum. Instead of using a bent piece of pipe that rarely fits correctly, we use a straight piece of pipe and make up adapters to get the correct angles for a perfect fit.  Unlike other MAF pipes on the market, ours come complete with connectors and hose clamps.  No need to shop around for these items to complete your installation. These MAF pipes  ensure an exact fit when used with our Big Mouth Cold Air Induction Systems for the 86-7 Intercooled Turbo Regals or can be used with a cone filter attached to the end of your MAF sensor. 

They will fit either the stock Buick or the Chevy LT1 3" MAF sensor and are designed to be used with either removable inlet bell turbos similar to the stock Buick design OR the integral inlet turbos as long as the turbo inlet is 3".  If you are running a 3.5" LS1 MAF sensor or have a turbo with a 3.5" inlet I suggest you use our new 3.5" MAF pipe -Click here to go to the 3.5" MAF pipe page. I tested an Impala SS MAF sensor and Translator Plus on my GN and here are a few pictures to see how it works with the solid MAF pipe.    Notice that I mounted the sensor harness for the MAF down low near the A/C pulley.  I did this to take advantage of the flat surface of the sensor so I could put one of our new  dress-up plates on it.  Rest your mouse on the pictures for more details and click on them if you want to see the full size picture. These pictures were taken before I reinstalled the up pipe!  Note that all pics are from my personal GN with a TA49 turbo with a removable inlet bell.  For the integral inlet turbos we make the longer rubber connector at the turbo.

Here's a good pic of how to tell the difference between a bolt on inlet bell and an integral inlet turbo. The turbo on the LEFT has an integral inlet.  The turbo on the RIGHT has a bolt on inlet.   (click on the pic to see full size)

MATERIALS USED / NOTES!

All pipes are 16 gauge polished aluminum and the hoses are silicone rubber available in black or blue.  Stainless steel worm gear hose clamps are included.  There is no need for t bar clamps commonly seen on intercooler connections as these pipes are not under pressure.
If you are using a turbo with a 4" inlet we can make these with a 4" to 3" reducer hose.  Be sure to select the proper MAF pipe from the drop down menu in the order box below.
